How to register and join the Codex Discussions and eWGs

On behalf of the Codex Alimentarius Secretariat, welcome to this forum.
This Discussion Board and all the forums require registration.
Complete the registration procedure by clicking on "Register" on the top right hand corner of the screen.
Once you have registered you will receive an email that you will need to click on to complete the registration process. Sometimes this email goes to your spam folder so please check there too.

How do I join the Discussions and eWGs?

Once registration is complete, login to the board and then click on your user name (appears in red top right), access your User Control Panel and select the "User Groups" tab.
To join an eWG or Discussion, proceed by clicking the appropriate button. Not all groups have open access, however. Some may require approval to join and some may be closed. If the group is open, you can join it by clicking the appropriate button and then submitting your request.

If a group requires approval to join (which will be the case with most Codex groups) the user group leader will need to approve your request based on the credentials that have been submitted from your Codex Contact Point.
